Blackjack Or Poker: Choose The Best |
Really millions of people nowadays admire free gambling. The bright lights, the noise, the excitement, the jackpots - who could forget the rush of the first time they step into a casino?! Of course, its the online casino which is really taking over. The simplicity and convenience of being able to switch on your computer and to be winning money online within ten minutes has added to the sudden rise in popularity of different online games.
In fact, each gambler has his tastes, his favorite casino online game, but out of the big 2, that is Poker and Blackjack, which one is the best?
What do you prefer, between poker or blackjack, when it comes to purely grinding out a bonus? (I differentiate "grind" poker from "best game" poker in the sense that grind poker is the type you play when you're just making ABC plays for the purpose of clearing a bonus and not really putting any effort into it).
I've found, that mostly gamblers are more tranquil about ABC blackjack than ABC poker. A bad run of cards even in no deposit poker can be far more devastating. Whereas you play blackjack you're a dog pre-deal on any given hand, but at least you KNOW you're a dog at all times. With poker, ego is involved. You expect to win because you figure you know more than a lot of your low-limit competition (many of whom are literally giving their money away) and have a great winning poker strategy. And when you're not getting cards to beat them it starts to wear on you and make you down to the beans.
With blackjack, yes, it's annoying when you lose 9 hands in a row (especially when a couple of them were double bets). But at least you know that you are engaging in a purely mathematical exercise and your odds remain constant. A blackjack bad beat is hardly comparable to a poker bad beat. Besides it's twice more pleasant to get a blackjack bonus.
Of course, blackjack doesn't even come close to online poker when it comes to earnings potential when the cards are running good and it's "your evening". But it seems to me,that in general the bad streaks tend to be more painful than the good ones are pleasurable. |
